Video - this module is about creativity. Creativity is flowing in you at the moment as you are creating! a baby. Your body is creative. And there are lots of benefits of getting into this creative mode too. In the olden days as I say, women would have had lots of time creating and preparing for baby. It was a necessity then but also a time of quiet reflection, meditation, contemplation and spiritual preparation for this transformation into mother. Now adays we are continuing our busy schedules throughout pregnancy, finishing work at the last minute, finish study, continuing our busy lives with just enough time to get the car seat sorted. We are, in fact, starting motherhood burnt out and I believe this is more important then ever. Slowing down, calming, quiet, going inwards, being with your thoughts, tapping into your intuition. It can take years to really slow down as a mother. So this is important preparation because:.
1) Motherhood is a slow simple beautiful time. If you are still in a mode of rushing, multitasking business, you will miss the beauty.
2)Your baby will also sense this energy too which isn't great for being settled.
3) Importsntly you connect with your baby in the their slow present world where time almost stands still and truly BE with them. .
So this module is about exploring creativity which we have started in the home preparation already, and enjoying, anticipating, celebrating being mother. So please take some time to enjoy..

I believe there is just as much benefit of daddy to be doing a creative project. Having your partner join in with preparing something for baby will also help his soul prepare. It gives him quite time (doing something) to contemplate having a baby and child. There is a range of woodwork ideas from very easy (even I could do!) to complex and large. Once again it needs to be special and beautiful. It does not necessarily have to be for a baby as your partner may not be excited about that but more a toy or play item for a toddler or preschooler. Perhaps you could work on a project together. This can be quite a bonding time, timeof quiet celebration and help align you. My husband and I now choose working on a project together in the evening before a birthday. It is a nice joint activity and connecting for us.
